MacBook no longer able to connect to AppleTV

Greetings,

I am running a MacBook Pro 14" 2021, OS 15.1 (24B83). The AppleTV's are A1842 (32GB) running tvOS 18.1 (22J580).


The connection issue is this:

  1. Trying to connect gets the 4-digit code, but the wheel on the MacBook just spins until it fails.
  2. The problem did not start immediately, it took about a week after MacOS update, but updating the AppleTV today did not change anything.


We have looked at a possible IPv6 issue, but do not seem to be able to change anything in MacOS.


Suggestions?
