I upgraded my OS to Sequoia, and now I find that several of my files are missing. I tried running the script sudo chflags -R nohidden ~/Desktop
but that did not yield any results. How do I get these critical files back? I read through a lot of the comments to see if I could solve this on my own, but I'm not running Parallel and I'm not finding these files in my trash, and I don't see them in iCloud. Suggestions?
It would be unusual to lose files when upgrading. You can recover from the backup that you made prior to installing the upgrade. Check your Time Machine (or similar) backup.
