iPhone14 using working with scanning Apple Pay or any kind of chip scanning

I just got this phone about 6 months ago and using my phone to pay was something I always did before it stopped working on me. I always scanned my phone to use apple Apple Pay against the card readers at the store and it always worked. Now all the sudden my phone won’t scan anymore and I can’t use my iPhone to pay anymore it’s very frustrating how do I fix this?
