Has your account 2 factor authentication? Then it can prove difficult to log in on the old iPad, please get a verification code from settings on one of your trusted devices, and put this code instead of your password when logging in
I’m sure it does not have the two factor authentication since this was purchased back in 2012. The iPad is with my mother-in-law right now so I will have to work on it this weekend. I’m not very savvy as you can probably tell. I have an apple ID on my phone which is a different email than what they’re requesting. Can you give me more help please?
