My iPhone SE, 2nd Generation, froze during an iTunes update

I am trying to update an iPhone SE, 2nd Generation, with the newest version of iTunes. I downloaded iTunes, then when the Apple logo came on and the update bar started filling up, the phone froze.

I have tried pressing and releasing the volume buttons and then holding down the power button. No matter how hard or how long I hold the power button down for, it will not turn off.

I cannot get to the iphone settings to turn it off because the screen is frozen.

Is there anything I can do other than replace the phone?
