Apple, please fix your search capabilities in the App Store

I am on my laptop. Quizlet is absolutely available in the United States. It is on my iPhone, it is on my iPad. It is web based, but I couldn't remember if it had an app for my Macbook or not. Maybe???

So, I do something that should be simple: Search for Quizlet in the App Store...it should pop right up and tell me which devices it is compatible with. Does it do that? Nope. Does it appear? Nope. So that left me searching for hours to figure out if it was available or not.

Anki is another app that has imposter apps in the App store. Apple used to screen for things like this but doesn't do this anymore. There are also apps that have these great descriptions of what all it does and you get into the app and it not only doesn't work, there's nowhere you can go for additional information. 99% of the time when you message the developers it goes into an abyss b/c you never hear back.

I RARELY purchase or even download free apps unless I am DESPERATE because of this. I try to use what I have unless there is a very specific need.

Apple needs to list ALL their apps available in the country in the App store so we don't go searching for hours. Please do a better job screening. It used to be so much better. It's what used to set you apart from Google Play.
