I had Afib and treated it with PFA ablation. How should I best use the heart monitoring features of my Apple watch? Is it recommended to set the watch to notify me of irregular heart rhythm or to track my AFib history?

You probably should discuss this with your cardiologist, if you haven't done so already. While having your Watch set to track and notify for any occurrences to me certainly would seem to be a good idea, your doctor may have specific requests or advice.

Yeah, it seems good to me that you enable this function, then you can monitor your heart and notify your doctor directly when the AFIB is reoccurring
I did ask my Cardiologist. He said he had no preference. I'm hoping other medical professionals will reply and give me some guidance.
No medical professional will probably reply without looking over your medical file etc. If your doctor said no preference then follow their advice.
