Quick Look doesn't work within Apple Music artwork folder

I've just updated the main Mac where my Apple Music (i.e., old iTunes) library is, and now I can no longer use Quick Look to preview the images in the artwork (~/Library/Containers/com.apple.AMPArtworkAgent/Data/Documents/artwork) folder.

According to the thread Trouble with Preview and Quick Look - Apple Community, it seems this is an "expected behaviour" but I do have a use case to continue manually looking at and somewhat manage those images: making sure they're in the right resolution (<600x600px, 72dpi) to fit/be displayed on my old iPods that I sync with that library.

It is really obnoxious Quick Look works on those same files as soon as I move them to another folder, and they can even be open normally with Preview... Just NOT with Quick Look directly from Finder. All of them display something like this:

This is an at best obnoxious and at worst ridiculous behaviour, limited specifically to this folder!
