Stop Spamming Me, Apple! Enough Is Enough!

I've been a loyal Apple customer for years, spending a fortune on their products. Every time a new iPhone is released, I go straight for the latest iPhone Pro Max. I always grab the newest Apple Watch, the iPad Pro, and even have an Apple TV. I think the only Apple product I don't own is a Mac, and that’s only because I refuse to move away from Windows.

You’d think Apple would value that kind of loyalty, but no—they still want more. They keep spam my devices with annoying notifications in the O/S, pestering me to sign up for a 3-month trial of Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness, Apple TV+, and all the rest. I’ve already spent enough on their devices—why can’t they leave me alone? And to make it worse, there doesn’t seem to be any way to turn these off.

I’m telling you, if this doesn’t stop soon, I’ll be ditching Apple altogether and moving to Android. Enough is enough.

Apple may or may not read postings around here, and seldom replies.

Or call the 408 telephone number or send a USOS mail to the Apple Corporate address here, and let them know:

I usually shut off most app notifications, and set the advertising preferences to minimal.

This isn’t about Apple tracking me or personalised ads, that's another matter—it’s about those annoying notifications in Settings and the App Store saying things like, “Sign up for 3 months free of Apple TV+,” “Get 3 months free of Apple Arcade,” or “Try Apple Fitness free for 3 months.” It's one thing with an advert, it's another when it's a popup with a badge icon you need to read and tell it "Not now" for it to disappear.

This is my personal phone. I paid around £1,400 for it, and I don’t want ads popping up. Apple should respect my privacy. To me, it’s no different from receiving spam emails or texts. It’s frustrating, and it’s about time companies started respecting people’s privacy and leaving us alone. They are going to far.

I don’t even know why I’m posting this—maybe I’m just hoping others feel the same way and that, together, we might get Apple to realise it’s not just me who’s frustrated. I don’t know, but I needed to vent.
