Missing 'Automatically Send Messages' setting in Siri for iOS 18

what happened to this in IOS18? : Siri can send a message right after it has been read back to you. Go to Settings © > Siri > Messaging with Siri > Automatically Send Messages, then turn on Automatically Send Messages.

This setting seems to have disappeared and now Siri makes me send messages in 2 stages - first I have to say "send a text " and then wait for Siri to ask what I want to say, and then I say what I want to say. I used to be able to say this all up front in one go? Am I missing something?
