Not able to transfer movpkg Apple Music files to iPod

I use Apple Music mainly to store my CD collection, and to transfer these (through a physical cable) to my iPod touch 6th Gen.

I have also purchased a few CD's from iTunes Store, downloaded them locally and without issues transferred these to my iPod. However, one recently purchased CD is downloaded in the movpkg format, and this one does not transfer to the iPod.

How can I download the files in a format that is compatible with iPod?

I am running macOS Sequoia 15.1.1. Music version 1.5.1.24 iPod touch 6th Gen. iOS 12.5.7. (most recent version)
