Transfer iTunes to new PC

Hello, I bought a new PC and am trying to transfer all my playlists, play counts, etc., to it. I found directions about consolidating the library but there isn't enough space on my hard drive. My actual music files are on a usb flash drive because my internal HD isn't high capacity. How do I go about moving everything from different drives over to the new PC, which has a enough capacity to hold everything? I read something about backing up the iTunes folder on the internal drive, but is that enough to have playlists and everything move. At the moment I can't find on iTunes where it points to my usb drive to play music files. I've lost playlists and everything before when switching pc's and really want to avoid that again.
