Why can we still not control Echo speakers from Apple Music?

Previously complained about issue. Spotify allows selection of Echo speakers natively and therefore allows full control of music from the app. Apple Music will only work if talking at the Echo system and is very, very limited. I want to be able to change upcoming songs, select individual speakers, continue the playlist I’m currently playing while in the car or walking, and much more, like Spotify does natively.
