How to remove the admin user on my Mac as a Standard User

Hello,

My account is a standard user and I would like to ask if there is any way that I can remove the admin user on my Mac as a Standard User. I forgot the password for the admin user and when I try to reset the password for the admin user, it asks me for the admin password and user name.
