Unable to turn shuffle off in Music on iPhone

I encountered an issue where I couldn’t turn off shuffle in the Music app on my iPhone running iOS 18. After some trial and error, I discovered that force quitting the Music app resolved the issue.

While searching the internet, I found numerous instances of this problem reported by various iPhone users over the years. One of the most recent examples was bill711’s thread titled Unable to turn off Shuffle on Apple Music… - Apple Community. I was eager to share my solution with bill711 and the community, but unfortunately, the thread is locked.
