Cannot add Anytime Fitness Access Pass

I had the same problem, but I solved it by switching to Wi-Fi instead of using the cellular network. It turned out that the reason the pass couldn’t be added to Apple Wallet was that Apple Wallet couldn’t connect to the internet.

If you have the mobile data turned off for the Apple Wallet app and/or the AF app then it won’t work. Turn the mobile data on in settings > Mobile > Show all apps > Apple Wallet (enable)

Anytime Fitness has updated their app 5 times in the last month. The most recent was released just 5 hours ago. Sounds pretty buggy to me.

Please download the last version of the app and try adding it again.

Please make sure it’s updated to the latest version 18.2
