Apple Music won’t play on cellular

If I start playing music on my iPhone and then I stop it for a few minutes, then when I go to turn it on again, I get a message that says “an unknown error occurred 1852797029”. and then I can’t play any music until I get back home. I have music set to on with cellular and I have my app to sync with my other devices. Anybody experienced this?

This is my experience at the moment. iPhone 16

Report written by a Genius Bar technician.

Issue: Playing audio, using USB-C EarPods.

Issue involving built-in apps Books (for audiobooks) and Podcasts.

When deviseauto-locks, after thirty seconds of inactivity audio stops.

Audio or videos do not resume on any app or in the browser.

My devises has been restored and setup as a new, in prior Genius Bar appointment.

A new pair of USB-C EarPods have been purchased to isolate issue. Issue persists.

Steps to reproduce: Replicated with both customer and Genius Bar USB-C EarPods.

"The operation could not be completed. An unknown error occurred (1852797029)".

My phone has been like this right from the start and it seems there are a lot of people having the same problem as me. BTW, if I disconnect the EAR-PODS from the phone the problem disappears for a bit but then reappears after a while. Going to try and get a replacement phone with ao as Apple seem reluctant to change the phone. They are going to escalate to engineering so we'll just have to wait and see.
