Solved: Can't play purchased music without Apple Music subscription

This worked for me and wanted to share. I tried sharing on the previous questions but it was closed.

  1. Open your Apple Music and click the account icon. Once there, click “Account Settings”
  2. When you click account settings, you’ll want to scroll down to “Hidden Purchases”. It will have all the albums there.
  3. Find the album you’ve been looking for and click “Unhide all”. Once you do that, you can click the song and it will direct you back to the iTunes Store, which you’ll see it downloading.
  4. Open back your Apple Music and the album with the songs will reappear. You’ll be able to listen to the music you purchased without having to subscribe to Apple Music
