Why is my AirPods Pro pausing media unexpectedly?

I think the sensor for my ear detection is malfunctioning. Every time I move my head with my AirPods in it will pause my media and I'll hear the little noise the AirPods make when they pair or reconnect or something. I don't even have automatic ear detection turned on but it still goes off.

I have tried the firmware reset/update trick and it does not work. I have the latest software update and still having issues, I have forgotten every device on my Bluetooth including the AirPods and reconnected them.
