Sometimes when I try to switch to the eraser via double tapping on the Apple Pencil it just doesn’t work. To fix it I have to open the toolbar menu and then the double tap works. It seemingly starts randomly at random times… It’s just a very annoying bug that was introduced in IOS 18, I know since it worked flawlessly in iOS 17.

Same issue here across multiple apps such as goodnotes and the default notes app. It’s really frustrating and unclear what’s causing it.
