How to dtermine the most recent date of contact with a customer

Hi, I have a series of dates for a customer in a row (up to 20 or more) in numbers. I would like to determine the most recent date in the row as the date of last contact for my CRM but can not figure out how to do it...

Without seeing the structure of your data, it's hard to tell, but assuming you have one row per customer, a number of dates working across that row that looks like this:


Then adding a new column F with the formula in F2 set to:


=MAX(B2:E2)


will calculate the latest (maximum) date in those cells.

Fill this formula down the column for additional customers:
