Fixing invalid file format in Numbers spreadsheet

How to change the format on a file? It's a spreadsheet made with numbers it has been working but now I get an error message. The file format is invalid. Is there a way to fix this?

Can not open the file with .numbers I found that the first time of this question raising was in 2021. So why this mistake or bug had not been fixed till now. I just try to open a numbers file which I opened everyday on my Macbook, but it shows "To open this spreadsheet, you'll need the latest version of numbers". BTW, it really give a lot go negative affect on my work.

.xlsx export from Numbers does not import into InDesign I have a Numbers spreadsheet. I export to .xlsx format so I can import into InDesign, where I get the error message: Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation. The only fix I see is opening the file in Excel, saving as .xlsx. Is that the only workaround? Exporting twice? Ugh.

Can't open numbers file Hi, I am unable to open numbers file. It was working fine few days ago. Now the error shows that numbers can't read the file. I don't have the file backup. How do I restore it?
