Subpar sound quality on Beats Solo 4s

Hey everyone, I got my Beats Solo 4s from Amazon yesterday, but the sound quality does not meet my expectations at all. I can’t hear the bass, and they’re not as loud as I’d hoped. What can I do to improve the sound and make them louder? Does anyone have tips for enhancing the bass and overall sound quality on these headphones?
