Why does my Eve Play keep dropping AirPlay connections?

I'm using an Eve Play device to stream music with Apple music. When it works it sounds great. The problem is, it drops the AirPlay connection regularly. It frequently drops connection at the beginning of every song in an Apple Music playlist. Any suggestions?
