Right AirPod Pro1 makes crackling noise

My AirPods Pro 1 are nearly 3 years old. The right one is making a crackling noise. I’ve cleaned them and changed the silicone tips and it didn’t help. Is it worth repairing? I think Apple Store charges £69 for single pod repair. Thanks
