Air pods cause ringing

I recently bought a set of air Pod Pros. I only use them for noise cancellation and an occasional call. I never set the volume high or even medium. I’ve noticed a ringing in my ears even after short (under one hour) use.

I took a hearing test with them and it showed I don’t have any loss.

Note that I’ve used Bose over-the-ear noise canceling headphones and never experienced any ringing at all in years of use.

Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, what do you recommend I do, aside from never use them again?
