Why can't I control the volume on my AirPods 4?

I connected AirPods 1 and AirPods 4 ANC to my iPhone, and when I tried to play some music, I couldn’t control the volume on AirPods 4. AirPods 1 worked perfectly, and when I tried to connect another pair of AirPods 1 everything went smoothly again. So I suppose problem is with AirPods 4.

I tried connecting them later, they worked, and after a few minutes AirPods 4 disconnected, connected again and once again I couldn’t control the volume (it was automatically put on max).

Do you have any ideas what should I check? I have IOS 18, this haven’t happened before.
