AirPods 2 charging case not holding charge and right Earpod not working

I recently left my EarPods and charging case somewhere and since I've had them returned the charging case won't hold any charge and neither will the right EarPod. The left one is charging fully. I have tried leaving them on charge overnight with the lighting cable and I have tried resetting them on my phone but nothing has worked. Any ideas please?
