choosing different library in music on my iphone(s)

Greetings...

I have a sorta nit-picky question that hopefully someone can help with.

I have 2 iphones, one old and one olderrrrrr, so, an iphone 13 mini running iOS 18.1.1 and an iphone 7 running iOS 15.8.3. At times I use one or the other of them as a 'controller' to stream music from my main system, a 2023 M2 Mini.

Point is, when I select my M2 Mini's library on either phone, it seems to take about the same amount of time to load...but the older phone running iOS 15.8.3 has a very nice little "progress wheel" thing to let you know that it's actually IN PROGRESS & happening, whereas the newer one doesn't.

2 Questions:

1. Is it possible to set it in iOS 18 to give such a progress wheel? (probably not, I realize). **and
2. Since I'm into using older tech for certain specific roles, .... inquring minds wanna know....what is the newest version of iOS that still uses a progress wheel like that when loading a different library???? In other words, does iOS 16 and 17 still use the progress wheel or not?
