Unable to report lost AirPods 4 in Find My app

I was at a service station, and they must have fallen from my pocket. Now that I’m home, I cannot find them, and I can see they were last locked in when they were at the service station, which is more than an hour away. Is there a way for me to report them as lost? The Find My app is not allowing me to do so.
