AirPods Max not connecting to iPhone despite green light

Basically, my AirPod maxes are not connecting to my phone even when the lights are on and the light is green and I’m in connecting mood but it’s just not showing up on my phone at all even when my Bluetooth is on and I’m on my Bluetooth and it’s just not popping up this for a long time
