RODE ME Microphones recognised but not showing volume input on RODE COnnect.

I wanted to use my RODE ME wireless mics with Rode Connect but whilst the mics were recognised, there was no volume input. This has driven me potty all morning and so I assume I'm not on my own with this.

I tried loads of things to get this working including external hums, different cables, different sequences of switching the RX and TX on and plugging them in...nothing worked.

Finally, and after hours of getting increasingly infuruated I went to settings > privacy and security > Microphone and flipped the switch next to Rode Connect. And voila!

Hope this saves others a few hours hassle!
