My airpods switches between my iphone and my mac randomly all the time

Recently whenever i am using my mac and my phone at the same time. My Airpods randomly switches between them all the time. I have to manually turn my bluetooth off on my mac so that it does not switches. For example i am watching youtube shorts on my phone, and it randomly connects to my mac even though nothing is playing there and them it randomly connects to my phone again. It is very very annoying.
