Stuck link in 46mm titanium Apple Watch band

I just received 46mm titanium watch with SS link band (gold). Unfortunately the one of the link is stuck. I took it to switch to see if they could help but after trying for quite some time, they gave up. I called apple support and was advised to return both the watch and the bracelet and wait for couple more weeks to get it replaced! I’m so frustrated that the supposedly premium version of the band is in such a poor quality. I regret my purchase.
