Printing issue with text and numbers in Numbers on MacBook Air

I have a new MacBook Air and was recently switched from Excel to Numbers. I have several spreadsheets that I have added new information into - both text and numbers. When I try to print, I get either 3 cells with no data in the fields and only the colored blocks and outlines of the cells or nothing at all. I have tried downloading new printer drivers, I have tried copying and pasting the data into preview, I have tried saving it to a PDF. In all of those documents, you can see the data, you can see the text, you can see any shading in the contents of the cells in print preview however, nothing prints! I am getting really disgusted with this problem. No solutions online that I have found after several hours of searching and trying things. HELP!
