How can I fix unstable trackpad on my MacBook?

Try turning off the option for "Tap to click," in the System Preferences for Trackpad. I have always found this to be an issue for every Mac laptop I've owned.

whether trackpad is damaged or else wrong clicks/ lags.

if it is damaged you need to change the trackpad .

if it is lagging while in use ,you has to check for software updates .
