syncing music from itunes to iphone option missing

sometimes i sync music files from my computer into apple music on my iphone with this option:

but i tried doing it on my friend's iphone and it only downloaded into icloud and this screen was missing and instead said something about icloud, how do i make it that this shows? is there another way to sync music if someone has an icloud subscription? pls help

When you have an active subscription to iCloud Music Library via Apple Music or iTunes Match all syncing takes place wirelessly over the air. Your friend needs to add the tracks they want to their library on their computer to add them to their device. You should not attempt to do this from your computer. You may prompt them to lose content from their device.
