I press play and the arrow is replace but the pause button but the songs won't play. I went to Edit in the tool bar chose Preferences and then in the Playback tab tried both options in the drop down menu of Play Audio As. This didn't have any effect.
First thing I would try is to reboot the computer.
ITunes progress bar won't move and song won't play.
