"iPhone 16 Pro Max Heating Issue with 30W Power Bank: Is It Safe?"

Why does my iPhone 16 Pro Max get hot in my Anker 30W powerbank even if i don’t use it while charging. It takes about 10 minutes to cool down after I disconnect the power bank. Is it safe to charge my iPhone with a 30W power bank?

Using a 30W charger is "Fast Charging" and when you fast charge, it will generate heat, which is normal. The phone itself has it's own charging system built in. Whether you use 30W or 100W, doesn't make any difference. The phone can only take a maximum charge determined by the charger built into your phone. But when you do fast charge, the phone will get hotter than if you don't fast charge. It's the physics of batteries.

Bower Bank Being Safe:

What is the model? Find out on the unit itself, or on the original packaging. Then, see if it is intended to work with iPhones. If it is not shown, when the manufacture sis not make it for use.

But the power bank may be irrelevant here, and there are many other issues that can lead to overheating, such as little storage space remaining, or apps running in the background.
