Will AirPods or Beats ever have a manual EQ?

Does anyone know if AirPods or Beats will at one point have a manual EQ so I can mess with the frequencies?

That would be a dream come true.

I understand there are EQ presets in the settings app, but none of them suit my preferences, so I have to settle for less :(
