Why is Siri's caller announcement volume so low on AirPods?

Hi,

I have a weird question regarding the sound volume by notifications from Siri on AirPods Pro (2nd gen).

Whenever I have an incoming call and Siri is reading the caller’s name, the sound level is so low that I can barely hear it. On the other hand, the volume of all other notifications from Siri (WhatsApp, Messages etc) is perfectly fine.

I tried everything I can think of – reconnected the AirPods to my phone, turned off and back on the “Announce Notifications” option. I also tried manually to raise the volume with the side buttons while Siri is reading the name of the caller but that also doesn’t help – it turns the volume up but the next time someone is calling me, the problem still remains.

I had this problem on my old 13 Pro and now on a 16 Pro.

I would be grateful if you can help me out.

Best regards,

Mike
