Apple's use of Microsoft Store for iTunes and iCloud installers on Windows

Excuse me for asking this. But I'm am not happy with apple. In the old days I could download right from the apple web site. But in the last 2 years all the downloads are on the microsoft store. The issue with this is this is not normally the actual installer. Also in some instances you have to have a microsoft account to download these files. Does not work on server based OS's also LTSC versions of windows as there is no store for a reason SECURITY!!!. I am sick and tired of this apple put back the actual installers on your site. Anonymous downloads are key for high security. Having to sign into a MS account is not my idea of security nore privacy. Get your act together. Please and thank you.
