iPhone alarm pairs with AirPods

When I set the alarm clock on my iPhone, it rings in my AirPods Pro. This is true whether I am wearing the AirPods or have them in the case and on the charger across the room. The only way I have found to stop this is to turn off Bluetooth when I go to bed. Why would the AirPods be paired when they’re inside the case and on a charger?

Airpods Pro 2 and Alarms on iPhone I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and recently got airpods pro 2. When I set an alarm on my phone it goes off only in my ear pods, which is a problem because if my airpods fall out while sleeping I over sleep and late for work. I often rely on the airpods for noise cancellation to get to sleep. The old airpods and version of iOS never had this problem. Previously both my air pod pros and iphone alarms would both go off. Ensuring I never missed my alarm, even if when my airpods fell out while sleeping. Is this a bug? An intentional change? Is there a work around? Will a fix be coming?

AirPods/Alarm So I sleep with my AirPods on and usually they will fall out when I’m asleep but whenever they fall out and don’t die my alarm that I have set for the morning will play on my AirPods and not off my phone. Is there anyway I can get alarms to play through my phone even when my AirPods are on?

Turn off ‘AirPods paired’ banner notification? Every time I connect my (already paired) airpod pros I get a ‘temporary banner’ and the sound notification. i definitely don’t want the banner AND want to turn the sound notification way down. In notification settings on my iPhone (11, with current iOS yes), I can’t find ‘Bluetooth’ nor ‘airpods’ to modify the paired/connected notifications. How can I at least turn that banner notification off (I know I can swipe it off it’s just an annoyance)? It would be great to have more control over those related ‘now connected’ notifications as well but it’s been tricky (how loud) if any ‘approach’ to that on general I’m all ears!! :-)
