Home button / back button stops working

periodically my Apple TV’s home / back button stops working. I reset the Apple TV and it works again. Then in a couple hours I’m stuck in an app, where every button works except my home/back button. Even when I use my phone as a remote it STILL won’t work. Anybody else? Help please!

I just posted the description above from a forum post 2 years ago. I have the same issue now, and have experienced it for months.

yes, it fixes the problem to reset my Apple TV,

THAT IS NOT A FIX!!!

can someone help me with a real fix. Expecting us to reset a product every night to get it to work, isn’t a fix
