Importing photos from Dropbox to iPad - totally stuck, please help!

I am really struggling to copy over my photos from Dropbox to my iPad. Have tried using the Dropbox web version and the app, but I can’t see any “import” button on my iPad Photos to do this. Unfortunately, I had a stroke a few years ago, so I struggle to remember things that I used to do easily! Eventually, I would like to have all of my photos on my iPad, laptop and Dropbox. Maybe also cloud storage too!

This is really important for me as I recently realised that I had archived very precious family photos on Dropbox many years ago and had totally forgotten them!
