If you doubt the authenticity of the information provided below, you have two alternatives:

  1. Report the hacking incident to local law enforcement authorities and actively pursue the case.
  2. Accept the credibility of the information; it is impervious to hacking. Just as some individuals hold unconventional beliefs, such as a flat Earth or moon landing denial, one has the freedom to believe in anything. The choice ultimately rests with you in this open and free world.

If you feel an unauthorized person/app is remotely using, controlling or monitoring your device, then that is possible only if you have done one or more of the following Don'ts...

  1. Don't hand over an iPhone to kids or to a stranger without Enabling Guided Access
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device
  5. Don't give in to Phishing
  6. Don't plug in your device in Airports and Public places through third-party cables and trust the device. Beware of Juice Jacking. (Especially in India)
  7. Don't leave your iPhone unlocked and unattended in public places like offices, schools, malls, etc.

If one of the above is true then quickly change the Apple ID Password and Return iPhone settings to their defaults.

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware *** unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful you are in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be judicious when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

**The primary reason for this is Sandboxing. All third-party apps are “sandboxed”, so they are restricted from accessing files stored by other apps or from making changes to the device. Sandboxing is designed to prevent apps from gathering or modifying information stored by other apps.

The sandbox on an iPhone is a security feature that creates a restricted environment for each app to run in isolation from other apps and the operating system. It is a core component of iOS's security architecture and plays a crucial role in making iPhones more secure.

If you doubt the authenticity of the information provided earlier, you have two alternatives:

  2. Accept the credibility of the information; it is impervious to hacking. Just as some individuals hold unconventional beliefs, such as a flat Earth or moon landing denial, one has the freedom to believe in anything. The choice ultimately rests with you in this open and free world.

The pic posted by you is not Lost Mode.

This is Activation Lock. Which can only be done by the person who knows the Apple ID and Apple ID Password or the Passcode.

Apple ID and Activation Lock

iCloud uses Apple ID credentials.

If you do not remember the Apple ID Password then follow the steps given in this Apple Article -> If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you do not remember the Apple ID then follow the steps given in this Apple Article -> If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support

If you are the owner or the owner has shared all information with you then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Learn how to remove a device from a previous owner's account.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.

I think you’ve not understood the case, hence such generic replies. Explaining the case in detail step-by-step so that you know what exactly happened. I received the sm link which was a phishing link. It asked me to enter my Apple ID and password, post that the hacker who had sent me the phishing sms, got access to my Apple ID and password. Using my Apple ID and password.l, he signed me out from my own device. He removed my Apple ID and registered his Apple ID. He remove my mobile number and entered his mobile number and in that way he got access to my phone. After this, I got a lock screen message saying my iPhone has been hacked and requesting a payment of hundred dollars. When I tried to reset the phone. The phone was automatically erased and since then I am having the captioned lock screen message.(check my previous image) this case has been raised with Apple authorities & for over 45 days I was following up & i even got detailed responses from apple ceos office. (Happy to share the emails as well) However, I got a final response that Apple will not be able to help me & they have no clue & no records on my apple id getting deleted /erased from their servers .

To summarise any person who gets access to your Apple ID and password, can make you sign out from your own device and get access to the phone. Two factor authentication was not a mandatory feature when this incident was reported, I have the iPhone original bill box and all details at my end.

With a valid original bill/box / & proof that the handset belongs to me, apple should regain access to my fone.
