Match a cell from a group of cells

If a date in one cell has a match in another group of date cells then return "message"

eg.

The date in a cell in column B is 02/04/xxxx.

There are 10 different dates in column D

If the date in B matches any of the dates in D

Return "Message"

Thanks

You can try something like this:

=IF(COUNTIF(D,B2)>0,"Message","")

Replace , with ; in the formula if your region uses , as the decimal separator.

Maybe that's what you need.

Put the IF function in D1 and tell him if B2,

Anchored both in column and in row so that the comparison is always with this cell,

Is equal to, select column C, return Message

(In quotation marks because it is a strip and not a number),

Or "" (= don't put anything)

If it doesn't work for you replace ; with ,

I hope that's what you're looking for. Hello

Yes. Thank you. That works.

Since this was about holidays (which I hadn't mentioned). I found another solution.

NETWORKDAYS ($B$3, $B23, MARKET HOLIDAYS::$DATE)

NETWORKDAYS (12/31/24),(A Date in 2025), (An Array from my Market Days Table)

It doesn't return "Message" but I was able to use conditional highlighting to indicate the holidays by comparing the numbers that are returned.

It worked out. Thanks for the help.
