Incorrect date and time on Mac mini M2 login screen

My Mac Mini M2 from 02/2023 shows 1. April 00:00 directly after startup into the login screen.

After logging in, the time and date is shown correctly.

Is it possible, that the CR2032 cell ist dead after just 2 years?

macOS is 15.2

Auto time and date is turned on in System Settings > General > Date & Time and it resets back to the wrong date and time. (In my case, today's date is 16 Oct, and auto setting date and time took it back to 13 August with the time collected from time.apple.com.) I don't know if it an issue just for Apple silicon, but it's down to Apple to work that out. Hopefully there will be a fix in a MacOS update soon.

M1 Pro (14 inch) MacBook Pro displaying incorrect date and time. Haven't really done any installations or uninstallations in the last 2 months other than updating the OS to macOS 14.1.1 (Sonoma) on 16-11-23. The issue was observed for the first time around a week ago. I have only tried restarting the Mac a couple of times which didn't fix the issue. Running the device by setting the time manually for now, but need it reverted to automatic. TIA for the help.

date and time used my MacBook Air after a month of traveling. The date is set to 7th February 2023 and the time is wrong as well. I have updated to most recent iOS and restarted several times. Set time and date automatically is on, location is on. But is doesn’t update to current date and time.
