If you are asking if the MacBook has an extended layout of additional keys, including numbers, to the right of its regular keyboard, the answer is no.

I understand. A feature that would cause the MacBook keys 789 / uio / jkl to be remapped to a layout resembling a numeric keypad would need to be implemented in software. In other words it would be app-specific, and not something native to the Mac.

No, but it might be possible to do it with remapping apps like Karabiner or Ukelele.
👍
I seem to recall it was a feature some time ago, so I was surprised to determine it is no longer so.

It could easily be native to the Mac, just like the current Mouse Keys feature remaps 789uiojklm to move the cursor instead of typing characters. But Apple doesn't provide it any more.
No. This is what I mean. Keyboards used to have a fn type key you could hold down, or lock and then the letter keys on the right side of a regular keyboard could be used as a numeric keyboard. Thanks anyway John.
