iOS 18.3 causing freeze - preventing access / changes to family management

I have recently updated my IOS to 18.3 and since this time I have constant freezing when attempting to get into the ‘family’ section to manage my children’s options / times. Once I click on my child the screen again freezes and I cannot do anything, as such I have to close the settings page and then reopen it and try again. This freeze has never happened before (up until this update) and is driving me up the wall as it’s preventing me from being able to manage my children’s options.

please help / fix this bug

mine is doing the same as all you. The one way I have found to be able to access it is to go to Settings>Screentime>Family(click the member to edit) then from there it lets me access everything to adjust settings. But simply selecting my kid from the settings screen, it loads then freezes. Not backing out, selecting anything….Notta!

Mine has been doing this since before the update. It takes 20+ times to finally get it to work. Apple needs to fix this issue asap

Mine keeps doing the same thing. It’s very frustrating when we are trying to manage family information, downtimes and such. This needs to be fixed

The best work around I've used is to have your child send a screen time request for any app they have on thier phone. Then you can navigate to the screen time section with no lag or freezing.

The workaround works!

Settings->Screen Time->scroll down to your kid’s name and go from there.

Oddly, my son’s name there is different from how I have it entered and listed, but. It works.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with ios 18.3.1 on an iphone 13 mini.

The Family page for the child account continuously hangs. We tried resetting the Network settings to no avail.

Result is we have got an angry child without any Screentime, because we cannot change it.

FFS.

I’ve been having the same issue since updating both my iPhone and iPad.

Both suggestions listed by a few others have worked for me:

Waiting 5 seconds before selecting next screen

Accessing via Settings>Screentime>scroll to bottom select family member. (Don’t have to wait between screens using this method)

This is interesting (and extremely frustrating). I wrote that the latest update fixed it, because it (family center) worked for me for a few days. But now I can’t enter it any more.

@apple please fix!!
